Bob Iossi serves as Chapter Chairman for the Chicago SME Chapter 5 Organization. Chapter 5 is one of the largest SME Chapters in the nation.
Bob has over twenty-five years of engineering, manufacturing, operations, and professional services experience. Bob is a past Chairman of the Industrial Engineering Boards in the Chicago metropolitan areas.
He is also a author and regular speaker at tarde Shows. Bob has written a number of articles about Manufacturing in America, when to automate and value-add professional services. Bob is well known in the industrial environment, primarily in the Midwest. Bob speaks at undergraduate and graduate students in Chicago for Engineering, manufacturing and Business Programs.
Bob is recognized as one of the "pioneers of professional services organizations" that are still working in the same field. Bob has expierience in Commercial and Industrial Automation, Robotics both mechanically and electrically. He also has experience in manufacturing techniques involving SPC, TQMS, Lean and Stage-Gate.

Chris Wetzel currently serves at the Secretary/Treasurer for Chapter 5.
Chris currently works as a tool designer and has extensive experience in this field. He has also spent time in Saudi Arabia as a manufacturing technology instructor. He also built and drives a car that runs on used vegetable oil from restaurants that gets 50 MPG.

Vic Logan currently serves the Chapter and their members as the Program Chairman and Certification
Vic is responsible for establishing programs each month at local companies, presentations, and dinner coordination. Vic also serves the Chapter handling the JETS Student programs. See tab on main page for more information.
Vic has over 50 years of manufacturing experience. He is also a seasoned consultant and author. Vic has also been part of the Chicago Chapter for over 25 years and is heavily involved in the JETS Teams competition.

| Ken Croswell - Scholarship Chairman |

Ken serves the local chapter as the Student Scholarship Chairman. Ken has served in this capacity for many years for Chapter 5.
Ken recently retired as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the dental equipment industry. Ken enjoys photography in his spare time.
