Hiring Company: CNH America, LLC Industry: Agricultural and Construction Equipment Job Title: Value Engineer Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with engineers, purchasing, suppliers, marketing, operations and quality to achieve program reliability, timing, cost and functional targets on assigned Platform Teams.
2. Provide cost estimates in support of product cost forecasts and system cost forecasts. 3. Utilize standard company processes and tools to develop and manage cost reduction process. 4. Support make/buy decisions with detailed cost and tooling estimates. 5. Propose alternative solutions to optimize product design and manufacturing technological choices to minimize cost and investment. 6. Take a lead role in support of product cost reduction objectives and help drive cost reduction projects to completion 7. Coordinate with Driveline and Hydraulics Competence Centers on development and standardization planning (DSP) of systems and components with the aim to drive standardization across products.
